The Opportunity

We're recruiting for a Men's Counsellor to join a community-led Family & Community Wellness Service in Maningrida, one of the largest Aboriginal communities in Arnhem Land.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside Aboriginal Family Wellness Workers, Cultural Specialists and community leaders to support men, young men and boys through culturally responsive, trauma-informed counselling and wellbeing programs.

The service takes a holistic Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) approach, with a strong focus on narrative practice, healing, connection to culture and community-led solutions. The role involves a mix of individual counselling, group work, family support, case management and collaboration with local stakeholders across health, education, justice and community services.
